2008 Advocacy Day and Public Policy Conference
May 11-13, 2008

Advocate Group
The ALS Association Arizona Chapter was well represented when hundreds of people with ALS, their families, friends and caregivers joined together in Washington DC for the 2008 National ALS Advocacy Day and Public Policy Conference was held May 11 - 13. Although a torrential rain storm forced the 5th Annual Candlelight Vigil to move indoors, the rain did not deter advocates from sharing their experiences with ALS and reminding us all why we come together in Washington each year - to find a treatment and cure for ALS.
